Clinic Response to the novel Coronavirus and COVID-19

The Psychological Clinic has been closely monitoring the spread of the novel Coronavirus (along with COVID-19) and governmental recommendations regarding how best to respond to this evolving public health concern. Because the health and safety of our clients and staff are of upmost importance, we are conducting most of our work via telehealth counseling (using video conferencing so that you can see and hear your therapist). The physical clinic is open during regular business hours, with masking per the university's policy to require masks in indoor space.

We are taking new clients, but we have a waitlist for both therapy and assessment. If you would like to be placed on our waiting list, you call 479-575-4258 during regular business hours to set up a phone screener with a clinic assistant to get an understanding of your specific needs. Thank you for understanding.

A Professionally Accredited Clinic

The Psychological Clinic works with community organizations such as the Department of Human Services, Women’s Shelter, Juvenile Court System, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), private physicians, schools, and other service providers working within the legal and health care delivery systems of Northwest Arkansas.

About the Clinicians

The Clinic is staffed by trainees enrolled in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Training Program at the University of Arkansas.  Trainees are closely supervised by licensed Clinical Psychologists.

Getting Started

You will then be put on our waiting list until a clinician is available (please ask clinic staff about wait list times; they vary throughout the year. When someone is available, you will be contacted to set up an intake interview appointment.
